Has anyone eaten at Byron's Drive Inn, in Honolulu Hi?

I haven’t been to the islands in decades and don recall any mexican food there. We have that in spades here in Texas

Cholo's up on the north shore has wonderful Mexican.

Byrons was Eh hem... kinda a low brow place 10000000000 times better than Fosters Freeze.

But the food sure was good

Nobody goes there any more, it’s too crowded!

Did I say infamous? because I meant famous!

I took a senior high school trip to Hawaii in 1982. I remember we were too young to get into any clubs but Bobby McGees. We did some cool things. We rode mopeds onto the highway and climbed Diamond Head and of course Pearl. I would love to one day take my kids to Lani. I also remember all the hookers on the strip in Oahu.
