After wedding, is bar package or by-the-drink better?

My Norwegian wife refused to have an open bar as she didn’t want to pay for the priviledge of having her Ice/Squarehead relaives ruin our wedding in typical Viking debauchery. Cash worked out nicely.

I am not suggesting that all facilities are dishonest, but lets not be naive here, its very easy to fraud if one desires too.
