Article bought and paid for by Google’s Android marketing department...
Um, without reading the article: Android is kind of unfinished feeling and has crap apps, iOS is super slick and the winner, and Windows Phone need not apply. In the interest of full disclosure, I own two out of the three.
I can't tell if you are being sarcastic or not. It was a very balanced article, in fact, maybe too balanced. Kinda boring :)
I think there is a lot of potential for a Windows phone, but Microsoft has a lot of hills to climb before they can convince a lot of people that they are serious.
Why, because it was honest, truthful, unbiased, and didn’t fawn over iOS?
Microsoft, Blackberry and Palm have been left in the dust.
I have used for my HTC Evo 4G for over one year, and it is amazing. Sprint rates are lower, too.

—Well made, durable, not one breakdown
My previous smartphone experience was Palm, with which I had numerous device failures.
Several friends of mine use iPhone. I show them my big, bright colorful screen and they just go silent.
I've been very happy. Just an anecdote, but after years with BlackBerrys I found the Android easy to use and the Samsung is great. My boss has been pulling her hair out.
Apple is determined to make all of it’s products iOS, and get rid of OS X completely. It will be the iCloud, or nothing. Total control of the user, including permanent realtime tracking and copies and storage of all user data - forever.
There ain’t no totalitarianism like Apple totalitarianism - Apple totalitarianism is FUN.
You got a problem wit dat?
>>>Having read the article, IMO the only person to come to that conclusion would be an Apple fanboy or shill.
Having read your reply, which tosses the “fanboy” label, It can be fairly concluded you make an accusation of someone else being a “fanboy” because you yourself are one, and are a bigot who bristles at any thought that someone might not worship at the Andriod alter with you.
Having never used a satisfying version of Windows, and that includes my introduction to Windows development in the 3.0 days, color me skeptical...
I can understand the skepticism. Microsoft, in their last cell phone incarnation, burned a lot of bridges everywhere.
But apparently, Mango is supposed to be a very comparable experience to Iphone or Android.
I wish I knew for myself how serious Microsoft was this time around. That’s a huge unknown, even at this time.
I cannot wait for Windows 8 to be released. I think it will be awesome. Anybody agree?
Smart phone comparisons Droid, Apple, MS
Love printing from my Droid. Don’t take my Droid away is all I got to say....
Which your first post fully earned and which this post unarguably confirms...
Windows 8 Beta is already out you can read about it or download it here it is only a trial copy and will only be operable for awhile.

I’ve had an Android (Samsung Moment - admittedly, a lower end phone) for 2 years. I just switched to the iphone 4s two months ago. I had resisted for a long time due to the “cult” ish action of most Apple folks. That was a real turnoff. However, I was tired of my phone not responding and being slow as crap, having to erase all my texts just so the phone would respond, swapping out phones, etc. The lack of personalization is annoying with the Apple iPhone as is the smaller screen than say an HTC Evo (which I had for 2 months). However, I must say that the iPhone is a pretty rocking phone. Its quick, intuitive and just works. Been pleased even though I haven’t really tried to personalize it too much.
