Dashing through the snow
In a one-horse open sleigh
O’er the fields we go
Laughing all the way
Bells on bobtail ring
Making spirits bright
What fun it is to laugh and sing
A sleighing song tonight!
(chorus)
Jingle bells, jingle bells,
Jingle all the way.
Okay trivia question. What what the name of the horse in that song? Clue: the name is in the song!
A cyber pill?
“Bobtail.”
I like “Jingle Bells” this time of year because it’s not a Christmas song, and it’s not, presently, Christmas. However, with a forecast high of 64 today, it’s a little hard to have the Happy Winter spirit, too ... more like time to put out the tiki torches on the lawn and fire up the Frozen Concoction machine.
You'd probably better not:

Wow TC you are the first to get the name!!!!
DING DING DING WE HAVE A WINNER!!!
I actually played with the lyrics; but then decided the original was 'more appropriate'.
Merry Christmas
“Bells on Bob tails ring”
I learned that on “John Boy Jeopardy” (John Boy and Billy The Big show)
How many times did we sing it and never knew?
Well it isn't grammatically correct. Bob tails ring--Rather I like a horse being called Jingle Bells, makes more sense to me. These poets or lyricists..only go for the flow.
Couldnt it have been written: Bells on Bobtail rings? I know can't rewrite the old master.
Bells on bobtail ring was correct..forget what I said you had the “Bells on Bob tails ring” confused me..lol
Thank you. You can donate my prize to FR ;-).
Happy ... er ... warm Wednesday in the third week of Advent!
Terrifying thought, isn’t it?
Curiosity may kill the cat but man needs to watch out for vanity. (shudder)
And that’s putting it mildly! Women, too - there were several articles recently about a bogus doctor who was doing buttocks enlargements using cement mix and Fix-a-flat.
(If I wanted a larger rear, I’d use cookies and ice cream ;-).
To me a happy winter spirit is no day below 72 degrees!!!!!!
It looks like you’re in the right place! When I talked to my aunt and uncle (in Dallas, TX) the other night, they were complaining about having to visit their daughters and grandchildren in Milwaukee, Maine, and Buffalo, NY.
