Our present are about 1 and 2 years respectively. They, too, have it pretty good. :{)
You might want to put that in writing in case the authorities get to her first, so she doesn't disappear.
They’re fearless dogs which gets them into trouble. I have a fenced yard so mine have plenty of running room. During the winter I do worry about the rottweiler from down the lake. He’s a friendly enough dog but I’m not a dog.
The Irish Republican Army, to get recruits prepared to kill innocent civilans, would have the recruits shoot dogs. Looks like some IRA veterans might be reflecting their training here.
Your tagline, Only a JR would submit to his master, all others heed warning.
What cuties! and what a beautiful mix, she looks like a hoot.
I think I’ve found mine a girlfriend down the street. Our postmaster’s daughter has a JRT female that she would like to breed.
I was walking the dogs at the animal shelter this weekend and there was a long haired JRT there. When I came up to his pen he started the jumping thing they do, so I put the harness on him and took him for a walk. He was a great walking little guy and when I started scratching him he gave me the JRT Eye of Love that they give to sucker you into taking them home.
I would have loved to but I’ve already got one JRT and that’s about all my nerves can handle sometimes.
I can’t bear to read these stories of cruelty to animals. It breaks my heart - because I love my dogs, etc.
I really can’t take it, so often do not click on the posts about cruelty.
Please, Dear God, make it stop!
How perverse do you have to be to do this to a helpless animal!
I can't find a larger pic.
And I have told my friends and neighbors and kids that if I should die, would they please call the vet to have my mare put down forthwith. No one would adopt her, no one would deal with her ongoing problems and shortcomings, so she would soon be handed from one person to another an then go to auction. This would not be a good end. I would not have her mistreated or, worse, sent to Mexico to suffer a hideous death in the slaughterhouses there. Would rather she had a peaceful death with no fear or pain.
It was then I noticed that someone had put one of those plastic ties around its neck for a collar, obviously when it was a kitten, because the cat had grown into it so much that it was literally choking the cat to death and it's eyes were beginning to bulge out........I don't know how that poor thing was able to eat.
I ran back upstairs to get a pair of wire cutters but when I got back down there, the cat had gone and I couldn't coax it back.
To this day I agonize over not being able to help it.......I am so damn sick and tired of hearing about cruelty to animals!
God Bless Digger, what a dog!
We adopted one of those this summer. I’m too old for a dog with this much energy!!!!!! I hope the ears are better on yours than ours. She is very hard of hearing when she gets out of reach. :)
Zipper, a small puppy spaniel showed up in our drive way with his collar ingrown into his skin, maggots and all. We removed the collar, doctored him up and we had him for about 14 years, never will I forget him.
Thank you so much for the painting dear, I look at it every day.
