Well what does everyone think after the Hannity interview? I've listened carefully to all his interviews and even though I liked Herman very much, I believe he was involved with these women, even if they are scumbags. First, has anyone noticed how he seems to "prey" on women who are vulnerable and bogged down with financial and legal issues? Second, he has said repeatedly "my wife loves me so much" but he's yet to say "I love MY wife so much". Doesn't that sound very egomanical? Third, he said his wife would never tell him not to run. I'm suspecting she wouldn't dare tell him not to run because she's riding the Cain Train too - the Cain Money Train. If you watched her interview she sure didn't seem to be madly in love with him from things she said. And now he's going to "analyze" the phone bills to see if they match up with hers and he and his attorney will do an investigation. When Sean suggested he could get the info to clear himself very easily, such as videotapes in hotels, plane tickets, etc., etc. he suggested Sean wanted him to play detective! Well, sorry Herman, but it would take all of ten minutes to pick up the phone, call the Ritz downtown Atlanta and ask for videotapes on such a date and at such a time! That would end it once and for all. Him and his "analyzing". God help the 3 a.m. phone call - God forbid the red phone goes off for a missle coming our way - by the time he got done analyzing we'd all be bar-b-que!
I’m still willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. I just wish that if it was true he would have owned up to it in the beginning but once you’ve denied it you can’t change your story. I absolutely hate to see the media win.
If they did this with liberal candidates too it might not be so bad but Barney can cornhole anyone he wants and they turn a blind eye, Ted was able to philander and stay drunk for years and not a word from our prim taskmasters in the media. Clinton’s indescretions were his private business but let a Republican think about it and it is all over the media 24/7.
I don’t hate Newt but I don’t love him either, we’d have to really get a good conservative congress to keep him in line but who else do we have besides the Mormon, white Obamanation?
You already used that spam on a different poster.
I’ve had the vaccine. All you spam are not effective on us.
>> You know things are rough when you find yourself missing Tim Pawlenty.
LOL! (But I still don’t miss Tim P.)
More like, my face is in my hands.
I feel badly for Cain, although if he dallied like this and submitted his bid for the presidency knowingly ...well, I just wonder what goes through these men’s heads.
Didn’t believe the last 2, but the 13 year lady — and all the phone messages. Just getting fishy.
However, none of it discounts what Cain has contributed to the debate and to this primary season in terms of the debate on reforming the tax system. We CAN carry his ideas forward if need be, although not necessarily his candidacy.
That said — if HE knows he’s innocent, and he chooses to carry on, then more power to him. Only Cain really knows.
I'm completely convinced that we will have Obama again. They smeared and harrassed Palin so she wouldn't run. They are playing the same game with Cain. Newt's in the lead so the women will be popping out of the woodwork, especially since he already has a track record.
That will leave us with Romney. Wives will come forward saying they were secretly married. Who knows how many wives he'll end up with by the time the election comes around. Thus, Obama wins reelection.
It's working beautifully so far, dontcha think?
Every marriage is different, in terms of what each expects from another or what would be tolerated and what would not.
Even the latest accuser is very vague. She says that she sent him 60 texts in the last month, but is vague on what the content is or what his responses have been. She says that he sent her money, but doesn’t say how much or how often. A couple hundred dollars is nothing to somebody like Cain and it may not have been large enough that he felt necessary to let his wife know.
Without specifics, we cannot assume anything.
I like Cain, but I don’t understand why, if he knew he had these problems, did he not KNOW they would surface. On the other hand, he was a long shot and knew it. Had he stayed low in the polls none of this would have ever come out. BO’s team would be scared to death of a real conservative black.
It doesn’t have to make sense, it is about completing what the lamestream media has failed to do and that is eliminate the only person that was putting forth policies that would return this country to a Constitutional Republic. All the others leave the problems in place and mess around the edges then they will say they were just unlucky when we still slip into a totalitarian socialistic (not really socialist) state.

- He could have done it so much cheaper over 13 years if - say he just sent her a nice case of Campbell’s Chili & Beans every month from Amazon - using the PRIME recurring order discount of 20% and PRIME free 2-Day shipping

LOL.
I miss Patrick Henry.
My husband and I help the down and outs. We consider many to be our better friends, and it has been a blessing to see some rise from their life's circumstances. However, some make a living begging for money. They will have an "emergency" and will call several times a day. Then they will call someone else several times a day until they get enough money to last for a while.
A period of time will go by, sometimes months, even years, without a peep from them. Then they will have another "emergency." Sometimes you just have to cut them off.
Ms White seems like the down and out type. Mr Lin mentioned the number of text messages she made in addition to the ones she made to Herman Cain. I would not be surprised if she had a network of people who gave her money.
Can you imagine how much fun the media and liberal agents would have, not to mention how quickly torpedoed his campaign would have been, if he had come out and said, “Just so you know guys, I have allowed women to sleep in my spare apartment, given money to them without asking and stayed in contact with them, but I have never done anything with them that my wife wouldn’t have approved of.”
Yeah, that would have nipped everything in the bud, right away.
>> No proof = not guilty.
I don’t think you get the fact that Herman Cain is not on trial for a crime, and I’m not sitting on his jury.
Instead, Herman Cain is vying for my vote, and putting his skills, experience, and character up for review.
Therefore, different standards apply.
In a court trial, I may listen to testimony and in my heart realize the defendent is guilty as sin — and yet, because I’m held to a “beyond the shadow of a doubt” standard, I may be forced to concede the fact that there’s no “smoking gun” proof.
In Cain’s case, I hear from his own lips that he supported a single woman for thirteen years without telling his wife. Being a married man, I know in my heart damn well why he did this. I can and will make my judgment about whether to give him my vote and support, or withhold same, based on what is obvious, if not “proven”.
You do what you want. But you know damn well that in court, “no proof=not guilty” isn’t even true; criminals get off all the time on technicalities.
But Cain will not get my vote based on *your* insistance on judging him by technicality. I know what the truth is, and will withhold my vote based on that knowledge.
Clear?
I noticed how he was too quick to point the finger of blame and didn't take responsibility. I got tired of his only answers being that he would assess every thing he was asked about.
He avoided answering questions because he couldn't!
He isn't POTUS material.
