It’s the way the government does business. Deflect from their own issues by using another example, no matter how minor or irrelevant. It’s what we’ve come to.

Sorry for the double reply but I should have also stated, how they played Toyota in this is typical of how they play Republicans. If anyone is seen by them to have an aura of stature, perfection or purity, they viciously attack it should anything depart from that image. Toyota, the GOP, you, me being conservatives, Herman Cain, Sarah Palin. It’s their mindset. Attack the opposition, downplay their own problems regardless of how large. It’s part of bringing us all down to a level playing field of mediocrity.

Leftists love the animals more than they love people, but they’re clueless about how to care for them. Makes me crazy too.

Yikes! I missed your post. You’re on the list now, but my last zot lightning post went without you.

Here’s your ping:

Just be sure that you get the extra-thick and smoky bacon, slow cook it to perfect chewy crispness, and nom, nom, nom.

Dogs are carnivores. Cats, omnivores.

I think you got that backwards. I'm pretty sure cats are obligate carnivores. Even though the little monsters sometimes annoy me because whenever I try to bring a pretty plant like a poinsettia home, they think it's just a tasty red and green salad. So I can't have houseplants.

I've been seeing a lot of new brands at the pet food store lately; I'm a little wary of them, since I don't know if they're testing their foods like Science Diet or Iams does. I don't want malnourished little monsters!

I had a bacon egg and cheese biscuit this morning. It was really good. And I didn’t give one thought to the pig, the chicken, or the cow that were involved in the process.

I'm late to the party, and I really sorry I missed the original fun, but was directed here from another thread.

Your post reminded me of the joke about the difference between "involved" and "committed." The chicken and cow were involved in your breakfast, but the pig was committed.
