Ironically, Fox News only generates 3-5 million viewers in prime time. Now that’s a relatively small number given the viewers generated by the three big networks, plus Fox. Of course, it’s a huge number compared to other cable fare.
Why is it so bad that there is a channel that leans right? Also, many right leaning people don’t even watch Fox News and cannot stand some of, if not all off, the prime shows.
I’m pretty sure that I am as big an idiot as Ted. But, I have sense enough to stay out of the public eye.
High five!
He’s a pompous arse if there ever was one!
Smug, arrogant, little bustard too.
At least now we have a few news sources that counterbalance the left-wing bias that is predominant in the mass media outlets in this country. The progs can’t tolerate the competition.
I only occasionally watch Bret Baier. Mayyy-be once a month. Other channels....zip.
They lost me after the Katrina coverage with Mascara Man and Jerry Rivera.
Tried watching O’Blowhard few times recently. Just. Can’t. Do. It.
self ping...this is too good not to share....just wow
Hey, you little dork, no one asked for guidance from you or any of your airhead "elite" liberal colleagues. None of you including the idiots at Time and Newsweak have ever hand any influence on what I think.
FOAD........
But look: over 30 years, with three networks two major papers and two national "news"magazines, how many of those can you name? And how many stories omitted? The worst bias is committed by selective omission.
The biggest sin of the alphabet networks was not that they lied to the public on a daily basis (although they did their share of that), but that as gatekeepers they spread the half-truth. More people are fooled by the half-truth, or the half-story, than they are by the baldfaced lie. Big Liberal Media knew that there were stories that the public should never see. Although hardly perfect, FOX News airs the other side of the story. For that sin, in lib eyes, FOX must be attacked and denigrated if not outright destroyed.
True to a certain degree. Howard K. Smith, ex anchor for ABC, was an unabashed conservative and gave conservative opinions when given the chance. Likewise Chet Huntley of NBC's Huntley and Brinkley was a conservative. Try finding people like them at the alphabet networks today.
bump
Yeah Ted, who are people going to believe? Actual footage of an event or your sorry lying mouth?
And they don't even lean right! (Except when compared to Pravda on the Potomac) They just lean less-left.
No the Democrat newsrooms are absolutely no more biased today than they were 30 - 40 years ago. The difference today is that they are completely unable to hide their lies and bias anymore.
A mere 10 years earlier and Dan Rather may well have gotten away with his Bush National Guard story and the forgery that he used to support it. ...Which only begs the question: How many lies and phony stories and forged documents did the Democrat newsrooms get away with during the last four decades??
Koppel I guess you like the good ole days, where CBS, NBC and ABC fed us half news.
The Constitution protects the rights of the press. Television talkers are not running printing presses. The Constitution means what it says.
Bump everything you said here. Like Rush says to Liberals, "There is no place to hide anymore!"
Hey, Ted. You and you elitist ilk let Bill Clinton get away with high crimes and misdemeanors.
