You would have thought there was a cure for cancer in this box, said shopper Skyler Stone. I mean people were literally going insane.Just another nail in the coffin of the precious Christmas season cheer and good will.

I find it real interesting that Fox10 managed to work in a little mention of Toy Are Us. Probably a pretty big sponsor.

The Buckeye police chief said the officers actions were justified and that the cell phone video of the fight showed only the very end of it. They said the Walmart's surveillance cameras did not capture the beginning of the fight. Now I see why it took awhile for the police to make a statement about the incident. They had to find out if the security cameras would refute the lies they'd make up.

Police said when the officer asked Newman about the video game he put in his waistband, he began flailing his arms. A leg sweep was used on Newman, who hit his head when he fell and began bleeding, police said.
This all sounds very reasonable. *rolling eyes*

I know the boy didn’t get injured, but adults need to keep children away from these places.

I'm 68 years old...I would never take a grandchild to one of these things.
Grandpa's everywhere should know better too.

No, where people in general go ape over crap.

He was "flailing his arms". He didn't get busted for assaulting an officer but he was arrested and suffered a take down for "flailing his arms".
Even blurring face you could see how bloody the guy was. Cops even broke out their gloves.

How is it shop lifting when the guy hadn’t left the store? When he got body slammed in was holding something in his waste band, he hadn’t lifted anything yet.

When I used to work retail, we were told a potential shoplifter could NOT be confronted until they left the store WITHOUT paying for the item.
So how is this shoplifting if the man never LEFT the store?

Exactly. Buckeye is not the center of urban sophistication and I'm sure thay have a Barney Fife or two who just salivate at the chance to use those tricky moves they learned at their six week police academy. "Leg sweep" my ass. These guys think they're Bruce Lee.

Yeah, funny how the cellphone didn't catch the "real fight" and the security cam didn't cover the electronics section. Probably had it focussed on the pillowcase aisle where the real miscreants do their dirty work..

Good thing it was only his grandson with him and not his dog.
