For what, Ron? Best in show?

I wonder how many years it took for Ron Sr. to regret naming this one Jr.

If Romney is indeed the candidate, the proper response is to have a strong Republican Congress.

I expect Romney will flow with whichever party controls Cpngress. He’ll be more Right, if it’s a Republican congress and he’ll be more to the left if the Dems get a hold of it.

It could be good or bad, but Cogress will be key 2012.

Romney could be even more dangerous with a Republican Congress.

I trust PeeWee.

I'd bet if you put him up against Ron Jr. he could hold his own.

Hell no on Romney ! Ron Jr can go fornicate himself ! Sick of these spineless two face liberals with an R next to their name. Bottom line, I want Herman Cain ! This voter is tired of having to vote for lesser of two evils, in other words, full socialist or socialist lite !

Ron Reagan (Jr) was married to Doria in 1980 - they are still married and have one daughter.

Just in case - the daughter is a Conservative - please watch your language.

Romney is weak, not really treacherous. His record indicates that he’s not much of a fighter for any side.

If Congress is strongly Republican and pushes for reform, he’ll go along with it and steal some of the credit.

“I am not voting for Romney. Period.”

I’m with you. To hell with the RINOs.

I am running my eye down the list of latest articles and this one about “Ron Reagan Jr. on MSNBC Hardball, “Romney will be the nominee”” catches my eye as well as the one below it “Turkeys on Parade”. It seemed liked the one below it was about the one above it.

Rest assure if Romney gets the nomination, then Obama will get another 4 years.

It seems like the GOP once again is determined to shove an establishment candidate that 75% of the party does not want.

Combine that with the way the Republican base folds and implodes to the lies of the Media and Press. Well that equals another 4 years for Obama.

When Obama wins the next 4 years the Republican RINOs will be the people to blame for it. I have no doubt it will be the rise of the Tea Party and the beginning of the end of the Republican party.

This is like watching a Train wreck about to happen.

“Even if he gets nominated?”

Yes. Especially if the rat bastard gets nominated. If we vote for this RINO anyway then what’s to stop the old guard of the GOP from doing it again?

Nothing. The only way those ****ers will ever learn is if we vote down every last RINO they run.

Now take your post to me and turn it around: Knowing that people like me won’t support Romney no matter what then what the hell is the GOP leadership thinking by pushing this a$$hole?

Did you read my post? Who cares about what the establishment wants? We have the power to push the candidate up rather than have the candidate pushed down on us.

Get involved locally and work hard in the primary for our candidate not the establishment’s hand puppet, it works every time it is tried.

I’m not going to lump you into this category because I don’t know you, but I’m an old timer here, most Freeper’s in my state anyway, are not adept in political activism because they cannot do more than post comments here similar to yours that exudes child like attitudes about if we don’t get my guy, then I’m going home and not participating or voting. Hence we get Obama by default.

I have begged, pleaded and threatened my fellow local Freepers to get behind Freepers that run for office, to no avail. So you see Megan, when I see comments like yours, I want to cry, because no candidate is perfect and basing a political decision on such a strident standard is a losing strategy and gives us 4 more years of trouble we could have avoided.
