The author apparently considers consistency to be the hobgoblin of small minds.
In his opening paragraph, he goes on about the damage done to the Constitution by the claque-surrounded George W. Bush, but then five paragraphs later he calls the capture/trial/execution of Saddam Hussein, during the term of George W. Bush, “noble”.
Then, he blathers on about the joys of capturing and trying that Awlaki fellow, apparently oblivious to the fates of the participants in Operation Pastorius.
I guess up there in Bangor he never heard the news about the 9/11 attacks and thinks the invasion of Afghanistan was just because of a whim of George W. Bush.
Only so far as it doesn't interfere with his warped view of what the Constitution means. Killing the unborn is okay. Eliminating God from our nation is okay. Removal of the right to keep and bear arms is okay. Shutting down political or religious speech from conservatives is okay.
Robert Klose is a moron IMHO.
What are the chances that cretins like this moron will actually vote for someone else on election day. It’s easy to write up this drivel one year away from the election (given that the collective memory of the masses is about a 12 hour news cycle).
Yeh, we should have waited for Awlaki to carry out a terrorist plot against U.S. citizens. Then we could send some court appointed officials to Yemen to book him.
I smell BS. At the end of the day Obamsky has this guys vote, I’d put 10 grand on it. This is just self important venting. In fact I bet he donates a substantial amount to Obozo’s campaign.
This was close to 20 years ago, can't imagine as it's gotten much better.
I miss it, in the summer. Otherwise, I'm in the south and it's close to 70 today, and sunny. Leaves are just starting to change. I'll take that over snow, every day of the week. :-)
“I believe Bushs successor, Obama, is at root a good man, an honest man. “
Then this author is still stuck on stupid. My guess is that it will only take a new promise or two for him to return to the fold.
