It’s clear this has consumed you, but at some point it is important to note that you’re not in a position to affect any change.
20 years from now, folks will write that he should never have been in the White House. The courts have no will to change anything, and you may have noticed, they are substituting convenience and opinion for objective Constitutional interpretation. That won’t improve with Obama serving a 2nd Term.
Energy must be focused where change is possible.
That’s at the ballot box next year.
Hi, am in Smithfield...
Hope you ended up voting but now understand why you might be frustrated coming from Newport News.
I’m sick about the Sheriff’s race here in IOW County...we are friends of Sheriff Phelps and he really got railroaded by the press here and by the Daily Press...
I’m feeling like you - I’m done for the time being getting involved in anything political.. they’ve got my vote - that’s all I’m giving anymore...the losses hurt too much and my faith in fellow voters takes a huge beating...
feels like 2008 all over again....sigh.
Yeah I voted. I went with the republican Yancey in the house race and the rat Miller in the senate (and I was shocked he won). Honestly, Chohany did not come forward with any ideas or any reason to vote for him other than he is a republican in a pretty red district, but to be honest, Miller hasn’t had any troubling votes so I went with the local issue I care about most - toll roads. Chohany is for them (including tollong the existing JRB, HRBT, and MMBT) and Miller is against them. First time I have voted for a rat in years. I probably would have voted for the rat in the house for the same reason, but West is not a moderate like Miller, he is a radical leftist.
