76lb adult?
I pity Florida hunters. The snake on the other hand, might just be a trophy.

Wouldn’t an adult deer weigh more than 76 pounds?

Not after the python field-dressed it.

I’ve never been to Florida but from what I’ve read the swamp deer are pretty small compared others, this kinda proves it.

In Florida they are little teeny tiny things.
The Doe that was in my side yard yesterday morning had a rear leg that weighed that much.

They aren’t that small in N Florida. About twice that size.

This was probably a “Key Deer,” a subspecies that lives on the keys and south Florida. They are very small. If so, this snake (an invasive former pet) ate an endangered species.

Thanks...That goes to show a python’s eyes are not bigger than it tummy. :)

To: Huntress
Depending on the sex and sub species adult weight can vary from as little as 80 to over 300 pounds and be considered normal size.

"Pets" loosed in the bush... inhabitants now in great danger.
"Swallow it all down, man."
Reminds me of the 1960s vermin loosed by academics and promoted by the MSM as the most intelligent generation ever!
"Bring it all down, man."
Arguably the 60s campus spoiled brats and their ideological issue today are now the Establishment.
