I’ve watch a whole lot of World Series games, but the game tonight takes the cake. It had just about everything and ended up pushing the series to the seventh game. Sweeet. I’ll be making chips and dip and ordering pizza Friday Night fer shur.

anybody ever explain why German went in and Cruz was removed?

the key to the game was that Holland and Adams combined for 26 pitches. A waste.

Absolutely Fanatastic game! although I want the Cards to win...Rangers are a great team and from Texas so it won’t hurt that much.

But...I won’t have to worry about it because the Cards will win! LOL LOL LOL! :P

Good Luck Rangers (I mean that sincerely)

The game is going to be anti-climactic.

It reminded me of something only fans in the Pacific Northwest would remember, the first time the Mariners ever made the playoffs in 1995. Baseball had just moved to the wild card bracket, and the Yankees, the quinessential "winning team" had Seattle, the perennial losers, down two games to zip. Seattle came back to win the next three, with as I recall either two or three going extra innings, the Mariners on several occasions being down to their final strike and yet refusing to die. "Refuse to lose" was the rallying cry. Randy Johnson, their star, pitched in extras frames in Game 5, and Edgar Martinez hit The Double to win it.

This game tonight had that same emotional feel to it.

Both clubs will be shopping big for pitching in the off season. Cards need one more solid bat in their line up and another solid arm for a starter.

This was easily the best World Series game I have seen since Joe Carter or when the Marlins won their first.

I remember it very well...only because it was Don Mattingly’s last chance to get to a World Series.

I’m predicting a 3 zip or 4-2 game, with Texas winning, shutting downthe Cards the last three innings. But we will see. Tony has a gaggle of believers after tonight’s game. They may win it all by force of will.

Unbelievable, with the frickin’ World Series there for the taking, he pulls a groin.

Tells you somebody up there doesn’t want the Rangers to win.

Rangers had them holding a 2 run lead with one more out - twice. I believe it was actually down to one more strike both times.

They let them take the game back both times. It looks like the Rangers don't waqnt the Rangers to win.

A Texan dies and goes to Hell.

The Texan smiles and says, “Very nahse, like Dallas in June.”

Hearing this, the Devil turns the heat up. The Texan reclines and say’s, “Ahhhh, lahk Hewston in July.”

Frustrated, the Devil maxes out the heat. The Texan, unphased, says, “Feels lahk Brahnsville in August.”

The Devil, at his wits end, turns the heat completely down to freezing.

The Texan suddenly and inexplicably starts jumping up and down and cheering.

The Devil, now flummoxed, says to him, “What are you DOING?”

The Texan replies, “The Rangers just won the World Series!!!!”

I think I first heard the joke when I lived in Texas as a kid. I remember bat night 30 years ago at the Astrodome.

Best of luck to Rangers tomorrow. What an incredible roller coaster of a series.

Rangers might as well just concede tonights game. It’s all over. I don’t see how they could possibly mentally bounce back from last nights game. They wouldn’t be safe with a 20 run lead in the bottom of the 9th.

Oh, yeah,,,the Cards steeeeenk!!!

Hey, I can use that:

An Arizonan dies and goes to Hell.

The Arizonan smiles and says, “Very nice, like Tucson in June.”

Hearing this, the Devil turns the heat up. The Arizonan reclines and say’s, “Ahhhh, like Phoenix in July.”

Frustrated, the Devil maxes out the heat. The Arizonan, unphased, says, “Feels like Yuma in August.”

The Devil, at his wits end, turns the heat completely down to freezing.

The Arizonan suddenly and inexplicably starts jumping up and down and cheering.

The Devil, now flummoxed, says to him, “What are you DOING?”

The Arizonan replies, “The Cardinals just won the Super Bowl!!!!”
