Yellow tape would have been stronger than the original plane.
Andrew is really enjoying life at Sandia. It’s just me and purchasing dude in the hall now.
It seems to me that the ground crew was using the tape to protect a fresh caulking job.
Besides i don’t believe a pilot would be sucked out of a broken windshield.
8 pounds of inner pressure versus 500 MPH head on wind?Thinner air or not...
I dunno.
I went camping a few years ago with some buds and it was pouring rain all night.
I was soaking wet and could not wait to get into my dry tent, put on some dry clothes and sleep on my brand new queen sized air mattress.
Well i finally got into my dry tent and put on dry clothes then i accidentally tipped my Coleman lantern onto my brand new air mattress and burned a giant hole in it.
I was freaking out pissed!
Then i realized i had Marks roll of duct tape in the tent i had used to fix a small hole in the floor earlier that day.
Well, i then spent around a half hour Duct taping the gapping hole then blew it up again.
Ya know what? it held all night, the mattress was a bit lower in the morning but i was still off the ground.
Red Green was right, Duct tape IS the handy man’s secret weapon.
They should have put the tape on the inside; it would have held easily.
