Many of us don’t buy into or think in terms of the binary politics that the D&R and media give us. Illegal immigration is the perfect example. Foreign aid and entangling alliances another. What we voters get is a choice where neither party provides us with a choice of desired outcomes.

So yes I would prefer multiple parties that require the development of informal coalitions instead of political monopolies. I don’t trust politicians period and the more control they have over us, as in only two parties, the less I trust them..

I don’t think I can get behind that line of thinking. Sure, it seems like that system would be more responsive to the public, but I think in practice it just gets bogged down by the competing interests of various groups. Europe, for example, seems less responsive to the will of the people, and nearly every country there has this kind of system.
