The new fracking technology is working quite well for a new era of natural gas extraction from rock formations. It should be something that will work really well for all the states that have shale formations throughout the country.

Thanks for asking!

You sound like Charlie Brown’s teacher. I am sure you think you are making some outstanding point but they are so far out in left field it sounds like “whawhawhawha”

Lame deflection. Guess what, Perry didn’t invent fracking anymore than he invented the “drill” mantra. Does Rick have any original ideas other than Gardasil injections, TTC, and his own version of the DREAM act?

It wouldn't lower taxes on the elderly on Social Security. It would raise their taxes. It actually raises taxes on 10's of millions of Americans and doubles most peoples sales tax.

Politically it's a loser, especially in a general election.

Cain has not been hit yet by either Mitt or Perry. Wait until one of them decides to run ads in Florida explaining the tax increase to the seniors.

There’s nothing mutually exclusive about the concepts in Perry’s energy-focused plan and Cain’s 999 plan.

The next President essentially could do both.

Don’t just scream in hysteria because the facts challenge your Perry worship, answer the questions.

What does anyone really know about Perry other then the nice words and platitudes he puts in his speeches?

Well probably more than we currently know about the part time preacher from Antioch Baptist Church North - Atlanta. When they apply the proctoscope to him then we may know a little of his history, associates, dealings, beliefs, etc. Until then we are pretty much clueless.

Guess you didn’t get the memo.

Rich Lowrie, Cain’s economic adviser and architect of the 999 plan, upon liberal criticism that this would raise taxes on the poor, said that they were going to “fix” that problem by either not taxing lower income individuals or at least drastically reducing what they would require of them.

That exemption of paying the individual sales tax is in addition to the entitlements to individuals living in Cain’s empowerment zones. Cain just doesn’t know yet whether they’ll have the lower income families pay 4%, or 2%, 1%, or nothing at all, but they won’t be sharing any burden with the rest of us with those kinds of exemptions.

So..... Looks like we middle class and upper class income folk will be shouldering the federal entitlements to the low income minorities once again.

No conservative should stand for such a liberal tax and spend gimmick!

(Excerpt)
Lowrie says it’s just “Washington thinking” to look at whether modest-income Americans will wind up shouldering much more of the tax burden. He repeatedly refused to say how much more of the tax burden would be borne by the poor and middle class than under the current system. But he implicitly acknowledged the problem by saying that the campaign would “fix this” with a new empowerment-zone plan that would be laid on top of the 9-9-9 plan and would presumably lower taxes in inner cities. But how fair is that to people living elsewhere? And aren’t we back to more complexity?
(End of excerpt)

Even that response is so over the top. Relax. Screaming?

You throw out these "when did you stop beating your wife?" questions and expect answers.

Notice this, I almost never go on a Cain thread and interrupt it like you do on Perry threads and we've had this on FR from the minute Perry threatened Bachmann's rise and Palin's decision to enter the race. Now you and yours keep going.

That is one reason why I am confident Perry will win this. I was nervous when ya'll started throwing bombs in the beginning but Bachmann started dropping. I knew if Palin got in she would fight for votes with Perry, and your group almost convinced me she was getting in, yet she didn't. Now you have all jumped the Cain Train, the old Dole/Kemp adviser, the motivational speaker who talks of electrified fences, moats with alligators and a national sales tax combined with an income tax.

One thing is consistent, you haven't stopped making outrageous claims against Perry. He's supposedly toast and a Rino so he should have no effect on Cain unifying the base, yet Cain sits in the mid twenties, just like Romney. The only candidate to crack 30% was Perry and he had some horrible debate performances, which scared people. He will be back. He took a punch and is regaining the initiative because in the end, speeches scattered with red meat about electrified border fences and tax plans that will never pass, is really not a plan. You know it, I know it the American people know it.

Now when Palin endorses Perry your head will really explode.
