BWWAAAAHAAAAAA!!! Perfect visual of the truth!
LOLOLOLOL!
Can’t someone get Paul Ryan or Jim DeMint to jump in? Pretty please?
I’m going to write in my dad! I did that for once for some school board election (I don’t even have children!).
yep sums it up
Excuse me for being unable to take anything you say seriously.
I suggest replacing Ron Paul with Laz.
Bingo! The purists are a freaking joke.
1988 - I voted against Dukakis
1992 - I voted against Clinton
1996 - “”
2000 - I voted against Gore
2004 - I voted against Kerry
2008 - I voted against Obama
2012 - “”
I haven’t voted FOR anybody since Reagan.
Reagan isn’t the standard. He’s just the first step.
Good for you I hope you did not misunderstand my post. I was not advocating voting once every 30 years (in fact, I was trying to show how ridiculous it was to only vote for candidates you approve of). And it certainly was not the way I voted (although I used "yes I'll go vote" as a hypothetical).
Ours is the worst form of government, except for all the others.
It wasn’t so hard for me. I lined up the candidates, then looked at their positions on the issues that mattered the most to me and I picked the one *I* liked.
Don’t worry about what other people think and say. You’re an American, son! Use that G-d-given freedom, THINK and choose! :)
For me it was Cain because:
- he wants to get us to the Fair Tax system and end income tax for all of us
- he’s pro-life
- he’s pro-marriage
- he wants to repeal Obamacare
- he believes in state’s rights
- he doesn’t support any federal gun control
- he doesn’t believe we should be involved with other countries’ civil matters, yet I believe he would defend us
- he believes in G-d and supports Israel
- he believes in exploiting our energy resources
- he wants to curtail the EPA, shut down the DOE and slash the h#ll out of Washington spending
- he wants to cut *way* back on gov’t regulations - restoring freedom to the free market AND to you and me
- he’s for controlling our borders with everything we’ve got and not giving a free pass to line-jumpers
- he’s the only one with a plan to save Social Security for the up and coming generations
- I believe that he can handle Obama in a debate and that he has the charisma to win
- he believes in though love and bootstraps, not hand-outs
- he’s intelligent
- he’s accomplished
- he can communicate the conservative argument and would be a good standard bearer
- he honestly and truly believes in America and her people
- I believe that he’s a really good guy who’s guided by sound principles. I believe that he will make mistakes (he’s not the messiah), but that he will never intentionally hurt or betray this nation
- I love that he’s not a career politician. There is no comparison between his life/career experiences and Obama’s liberal life in a college. Cain has DONE it. He’s lived life and succeeded. All Obama has done is talk liberalspeak.
I disagree with his stand on the War on Drugs. (I believe that present policy is inefficient and ineffective. I believe that if we put 1/3rd of the money we’re currently spending into rehabilitation programs for non-violent drug offenders, we’d make a lot more headway and bring down our prison population. Rehab is more effective than jail time. I also believe that gov’t interference hurts the dr/patient relationship and leaves a lot of innocent people in a condition of chronic pain. Cain wants to continue. I’ve heard no talk of reforming the program.)
I think he’s the closest thing we’re going to find to a ‘perfect’ conservative. Not perfect, but very good. Definitely good enough for what we require right now.
I believe that, in Cain’s America, my children will be able to find work and support their families.
He’s the candidate that *I* most closely align myself with and that’s why he gets my vote.
Now go do your homework, find out what the other candidates stand for and make *your* choice. This is part of being a responsible American.
Reading what you just said made me wonder:
Perhaps a Cylon would make a great candidate?
=8-)
I sure as hell wouldn’t put it past Clinton to try...
=8-)
I might not have been clear: this year, if I do not approve of the nominee, they are not getting my vote. If they need my vote to carry Tennessee, they have already lost to Zero.
Who was talking about a parliamentary form of government? Not me; but you are you jackass.
