The Boston Globe, in a story published on its website early Wednesday, reported that Red Sox players tuned out former manager Terry Francona, squabbled among themselves and were selfish and lazy even before the team famously collapsed on the field in September.

It sure sounds that way. Sounds like respect was lost between players and manager and a manager is something a team simply can't do without.

Do these TBS announcers ever have anything good to say about the Cards? During the last game, they actually compared future free agents Pujols and Fielder and pronounced Fielder the better player. HA!

Extra innings in Detroit, 3-3.
Slow motion baseball continues.
Those Detroit fans is the expensive seats behind the batter seem all doped up.
