agreed- and while i love Palin and wouldve supported her to the end, the way she bailed as govenor of Alaska, didnt see it through and make the sacrifice necessary made her unelectable with the independents, who are vital next November...
You can Take your quitter theme where Sarah and the Governorship is concerned and shove it where the sun don't shine JackAss.
To: The Wizard
I think that she concluded that Herman Cain will win the nomination if she is not in the race and that she will endorse him in the not too distant future; certainly before the major primaries.
Can’t say I really any differences in their positions of the substantive issues.

Hey Jackass, why don't you run on home, I hear your mother calling you.
To: The Wizard
She said it well: God, family, country.
In that order.

Good for the kids.
Palin is still a young woman with plenty of time to politic in the future. She needs to run for Senate or perhaps serve in a new administration, stay involved but be there for the kids until they’re grown.
She’s a star, but she wisely realizes that this is not the time.

Another 14 year-old heard from.
Thanks for the nonsense FRiend.
To: The Wizard
I think this family as a whole understands what sacrifice is. Sarah’s son Track enlisted in the Army and did a tour in Iraq, and she and Todd are parents of a special needs child. That in itself is a heavy responsibility. She deserves to live her life the way she wants, not at the whim of her fans. Respect her choice and move on.

She already said she will not do that.

I have heard of PDS but you take the cake.
You haven't posted a thing in six years until your bitter pathetic hate for Sarah Palin dragged you from your sad little hole.
Go back for another six years, you weren't missed.

indylindy, perhaps you should mind your own business and refrain from commenting when you don’t know the facts. mkjessup was on Palin threads just two days ago being a complete @ss to any/all Palin supporters and generally making as many rude comments as possible about Palin. I found it in extremely bad taste since many people were hurting that night, but mkjessup just had to keep it up. You understand that because you do the same thing quite often. I asked mkjessup to give it a rest for 24 hours and was told to “Stuff it, punk.” So can your holier-than-thou attitude lindy.

I dont think anyone should demand anything like this from anyone if they arent willing to take that step themselves.
What right does anyone have to demand that another live their lives for your desires?
This isnt about any one person from the government and here to help.
So when I read someone say demand that someone take that leap, all I can think is...
You First.
Weak response FRiend.
I'd give anything to be in the position that Governor Palin was in, to be able to actuall change things.
I would have gladly made the sacrifice, for the very same reasons the FOunders did.
To: The Wizard
Give it up man, she’s not running, and at this point, she’d be a laughing stock if she tried to jump in. You’re just making a fool of yourself with these comments.

She’s not going to; even if she had a change of heart, it’s far too late. No one will ever look at her through the same lenses again. The trust is gone.
There was a time when “Children should be seen and not heard” was common philosphy in this country. Now the kids are treated like mini-adults.

Fine. Sacrifice your own life. Sacrifice your own family.
You cant demand that from others. You can only give it for yourself. Or not.
Where did I demand it?
And let me re-iterate, I'm glad the Founders did not let things like the possible Hell their children would go through make their decisions for them.
I still can’t believe that she isn’t going to run. I feel like I have dreamed that she isn’t going to run, and I need to wake up. I wouldn’t mind if she announced this a few months ago.
To: The Wizard
I am so over Sarah Palin.
To: SoConPubbie
“Boy am I glad the founders didnt make their decisions to support this infant country and the revolution that preceeded it based on the emotions or desires of their children, or even whether or not the children would be put through hell.”
How true. I try to imagine my dad making a career decision based on a family vote. Not. What a pathetic cop-out for Palin. If she’s that weak, then it’s better to know that now rather than two or three years from now.
