For less government and more jobs?
If those are your positions then you are in a great deal of agreement with Perry.
Just a suggestion, but maybe you shouldn't limit your knowldege of Perry to what is posted here about him. Look at his book and actually look past the cliches and sound bytes.
Face it, when the media has to write about a painted rock from 30 years ago to smear him, they're desperate and don't have anything with substance to toss at him.

Right now RINOs are good...how many Tea Party people are actually RINOs because the Republican party is the best place for them but if something better and more viable came along they'd go?
Can you list the Establishment GOPers that are supporting Perry? Who are those Powerful Elites that are pulling strings for him? Rove? The Bushes?

Meh. Perry’s okay. He’s a damned sight better than Obama for sure.
But, one thing I am getting really tired of is this “Perry was a Democrat” meme. A whole bunch of Texas voters were Democrats in the past. A bunch, like me, still technically are. Why? It’s due to the closed party primary system in Texas combined with the fact that the Crats to this day have the local party system sewn up. In my county the Crats have 5 party precincts. The GOP, one. Local candidates for everything have to do so through the Crat primary in order to have any hope of winning. The real election is in the Crat Primary, not the General. I remain registered to vote in the Crat Primary because it’s the only game in town as do 80% of my fellow voters and yet my county went 75/25 against JJ in the last election. Extremely conservative count I vote in.
I still get mail from the Dems and all that while I have always fully considered myself a Republican and voted so on the state and national level.
Perry is a child of that system that still exists in one of the most conservative states in the country. It’s not a valid argument.......and I’m not a big Perry supporter.
If you assure us that you and the rest of you Perry seminar posters will stop polluting FR with Perry puff pieces, I would reckon those who oppose Perry would be more than happy to go elsewhere. Some of us were sick of Perry before he ran for President. Darned if I won’t visit a thread about him to explain why, and darned if you’re going to gripe me off of it.

I too had (up until Perry jumped in and then after the 3rd? debate...the one where Bachmann lost her mind) supported Palin but it was clear (at least to me) that she wasn’t going to announce. And after her attack on Perry...well that did it for me. I was really hoping for a Palin/Perry, Perry/Palin ticket. *sigh*
I hope Perry works on his debating skills! He (We) cannot afford any more stumbling...

You’re getting fired on because you’re providing cover for the puff-postering types, even if you don’t do that yourself. If you don’t like hearing negative comments, maybe you should stop supporting an illegal-immigrant-loving candidate and his stable of FR shovelers.
I could give a crap what goes on in your over-crowded 25 million State, or who you elect. But, I don’t cast votes for career politicians and that includes your man Perry.

I know of no Perry supporter that goes onto other threads; you’re comments about Gov Perry shows just how unlearned and ignorant you are. Sad...you fit in with Obama voters quite well.
