I believe the level of protection is incredible these days. No worries for any president going forward.

How about we get one first—a real conservative president—and then worry about it.

Well, let’s take a look at Presidential level attacks since November of 1963.

JKF killed in 1963
RFK killed in 1968
Gerald Ford shot at (in two seperate instances) in 1975
Reagan shot in 1981
Bush (Sr) attempted bombing in 1993
Clinton had a plane flown into the White House in 1994, a man fire a rifle at the White House in 1994, and was the target of a bomb on a bridge in the Philippines in 1996.
Bush (Jr) had a man fire a pistol at the White House in 2001 and had a live grenade thrown at him in Tbilisi, Georgia in 2005.

Since RFK was killed on the night of the California primary in 1968, we have had 9 serious attempts at the assassination of a President, former President or Presidential candidate. That’s one every 4.7 years.

I don’t fear for the safety of any President or serious candidate.

I think of everything you've just said and I worry more for a Democratic President.

Think about how revolutions happen (which is being pushed by EVERYONE on the left right now) and how TPTB are using the useful idiots (communists, socialists, anarchists and the whole burn-it-down crowd) to seize power (suspend elections) right now.

Of course TPTB arent going to give the useful idiots what they want. When they figure that out, I think we should all worry about Obama. If one of these rotten to the core individuals gets at the President, it'll all be blamed on the right (like they already always do).

...then what happens? PURGE. Rosanne Barr and the Goracle types are already talking about executing conservatives and capitalists.

I’m actually more afraid that someone from the left (like Travis Loughner) will make an attempt on Obama so that the media can blame it on the Tea Party, and then suggest that Obama should be president for life.

I fear for the Republican candidate, or the not-quite Republican candidate. The one the LEFT fears will win. No, it’s not just you, I pray especially for the Lord’s protection of Herman Cain and Sarah Palin.

I agree because the next President will actually have to cut out a lot of the socialist pork that leftists love.
The next President/Congress will actually have to cut spending , not just cut the increases.

I am tired of the fear factor that those in power are using; I prefer not to read it here. Let’s scare everybody about everything. Does not work for me.

I fear for the safety of the current occupant. “Right winger, Tea Party types” would be made the culprets.

A typical Leftist solution to getting rid of an embarrassment and ensuring another eight years. They are past masters of playing the sympathy vote. Remember Wellstone and Carnahan - and maybe Giffords?

I have come to fear everything. I drink 1/2 liter of juice at night so I wake up to pee and check that my daughter is alright. My wife moved her out of our bedroom. I called her a Cruel Bitch.

I am deeply afraid for Governor Palin’s safety and the health and safety of her family.

I think it is a valid concern if you look at the current trend but I don’t think it is limited to just the next President. You have to keep in mind that the Left uses force and fraud upon others in order to move their agenda with its basis rooted in unjustified anger and hatred for others (and also themselves). When they don’t get their way using fraudulent means they will get angry and have a temper tantrum and use force (passive and active, physical and verbal) to express that anger.

If any of the more conservative contenders in the current field of Pubbies running for POTUS gets elected the chances of having violence perpetrated against them does go up. If Palin decides at the last moment to throw her hat in the ring just that alone is going to magnify the effect the Left’s visceral hatred at least two or three times what we saw when she ran for VeeP. If she wins? Let’s just say the Secret Service is going to have to double or triple the number of agents that will be assigned to protect her.

From what I have read the Conservative movement started in the early 1960s which parallels Jews coming back to Judaism for the first time ever which the Prophets said would happen in the end of days. This is because God is moving American’s hearts in a quiet and decentralized manner that the Left can not control. As more and more American’s move toward a more Godly and conservative way the Leftists will continue to get more and more overtly and bitterly angry both with their words and their actions.

All I can say is keep praying and learning God’s Word, teach your children what is right and wrong that is consistent with the example you set, always keep firearms handy and practice with them, help your neighbors any way you can, and be optimistic that no matter how bad things could get we will get through this for the better.

Huh? Who’s going to take out Obama? Billy Graham? Come on.
That might be the only way the Dems can get a winning candidate for the next election.

And, if they can blame it on the Right Wing, so much the better.

Yes. I do. Especially if Sarah Palin is elected or, to a lesser degree, if Herman Cain is elected.

On the other hand, I believe the prayer warriors will enjoy the extra workload fending off the evil that would be directed at either.

And, to their credit, both are very likeable and very American, exactly the kind of people you'd enjoy protecting and make you feel privileged to have ensuring their safety and protection be your job.

The majority of President killers have been leftists, so maybe, but I suspect the Secret Service will do extra special on keeping a Republican President safe.

I fear that this is the goal of Soros, to create a martyr while eliminating a truly stupid politician.
