She’s going to announce her run after Scooter Libby gets indicted for the Valerie Plame affair. LOL.

I’m beginning to have visions of Palin supporters dressed in jumpsuits and sneakers committing mass suicide the day she announces she’s not running. This is really getting out of hand. Don’t you people see the cult of the personality you’re creating?

I’m Palins problem - 50 yr old white conservative voter. I like her but she’s not presidential material...should have stuck it out as governor no matter how tough it got....no quitters...

I remember when I was in high school, in of all places San Jose CA back in the 70’s how the teachers always had some form of competition to weed out leaders and followers.

Now schools back then were a bit different and they were constantly trying to elevate those with exceptional skills and also relegating the lesser skilled students to simple monotonous duties.

But I had a different agenda, first off I had no respect for people trying to herd or handle me, I had no respect for those that were nothing but remora fish just hanging on to my side hoping for scraps and attention, yes I was exceptional, I was actually at the top of the class.

But still I felt like I was just another steer in the herd and we were all in a corral for some, so I jumped the fence and became the free range steer, nobody can herd me, nobody will ever eat me or wear my skin.
I skipped out on my first two years in high school but aced all the tests, much to the dismay of the herders who thought I should be in college, and I never saw the last two years of high school either.

I simply refused to play the game, I could win anytime at almost anything, I was actually bored with low level competition, I traveled seeking knowledge of the world instead.

I believe Sarah Palin is doing all the right moves, and I am not at all concerned that she refuses to play the MSM games, or the political school game of who will become the top in the class.

I think Sarah Palin is a lot like I am, and I sure wouldn’t want to compete with such weak and flawed competitors so far as I have seen.

I predict she'll announce in Alaska and run a pretty good campaign. She'll be in the mix for the nomination

But, then someone will sue her and she'll quit half way through the primaries.

You people need to get a grip

I would love to see Palin run.....but she isn't.....it's pretty obvious to those of us looking and can be objective and not fall into the cult of personality thingy

How about a little logic here on FR..which is a rare commodity I agree! Anyway why would she run...she’s making more money than she ever dreamed possible, in the millions per year, and her unfavorable’s of being elected President are off the charts....and in her current position she gets ton’s of press letting folks wonder what she is going to do all the while watching her bank account grow, grow and then grow some more. She is a smart little gal....she knows better than to stop the cash register ringing by announcing her candidacy. IMHO

Will she do announce, for example, though a recorded VIDEO,
as an homage to Hillary! -- and a secret signal to the PUMAs?
Hopefully, she won't make the same ERRORS that Hillary! did.

Check out THIS excellent analysis by FReeper MindBender26:

Senior TV Network Newsies Think Hillary's Announcement Huge Mistake.

As many FReepers know, I’m spent many years in TV network news. I polled old friends and acquaintances today and with one exception, all agreed that Hillary Clinton’s announcement today that she is running for President (yawn) is a HUGE misstep.

First, she did it at a time guaranteed to get her minimum television exposure.

The Saturday HUT (Homes Using Television) numbers are miniscule. When was the last time the Saturday Noon News was a “must see” for anyone?

In addition, anyone watching TV today or tomorrow is probably a man and he is tuned into sports. Not Hillary’s target audience!

She should have announced on 4:00 P.M on Thursday, after appearing earlier in the day on GMA, Today, CBSMN, and especially “The View” to coyly announce that she just might have something importance to announce “soon.”

By announcing at 4:00 on a Thursday, she would have been the lead story on all that evening’s newscasts. Thursday is often the second highest rated show of the week. Then she would have been topic #1 that night and all day Friday.

She could have been back on the AM shows and The View on Friday, perhaps even a quick Oprah appearance. Friday night’s national news shows would have been all reaction stories, a visit to her hometown, yada yada yada, etc.

She would have owned 36 hours of prime TV.

As it is, she chose the absolutely worst time. The Sunday AM shows will be all over it, but no undecided voters watch those shows. She will get no mojo or movement from them. By Monday, it’s old news.

Next her method of announcement.

She posted it as a statement on her website.

Idiotic.

She could have gathered 2000 screaming, sigh waving supporters on the Capitol steps, balloons, a band, etc.

Could have been a huge hoop de do! CNN, FNC and others would have covered it live, etc. As it was, nothing! In the words of one senior editor, “She mailed it in!”

So, RonDog asks, will it be:
Thursday, September 15
or
Thursday, September 22 - the day of the Orlando GOP debate!
or
Thursday, September 29?

Folks, I am hearing from a FB associate that someone who was listening to the show has heard it announced that Palin will be on Bob and Mark tomorrow AM, time uncertain, but roughly noonish for the middle of the country, well placed for a Rush relay. Can we confirm this? We should confrim this before going to Defcon 5, or whatever they call it.

I don’t believe there ever were any PUMAs.

That was just a red herring thrown at us by the Dems. We swallowed it hook, line, and sinker.
