Texans aren’t gonna catch a break, are they?

I’ve tried everything I can think of to make it rain here. I’ve prayed, washed my car, did a rain dance and laid out some rugs and pillows to air. We’re stuck this way until God decides otherwise. You’d think we’d be mosquito free too but nooooooo. The little bloodsuckers are out there to get us when we water our yards.

One interesting fact is that Texas has never taken a major hurricane direct hit after September 30th. Not saying it couldn’t happen, but that’s the date we all aim for, for breathing easier.

Doesn’t look like. My friend in Houston said all of their plants and trees are gasping for rain and they are too.
