You do realize it is the FedGov’s responsibility to secure the borders, don’t you? It is one of the few things the FedGov is actually mandated by the Constitution to do. It falls under “national defense and security.” This administration has refused to spend any resources on the border, forcing the states to have to deal with it. Texas has a balanced budget, madated by the Texas Constitution, so we can’t spend money we don’t have on border security. Why don’t you tell us what you would do, given those constraints?
As a Californian, you are woefully misinformed. Do you not know about Harvey Milk, the first openly gay man to be elected to the San Francisco Board of Supervisors in 1977? That was THIRTY-FOUR YEARS AGO! He might not have been the mayor, but he was openly gay, and elected to a local political office.
Mimic governors Brewer,Martinez & Deal. Follow the clues laid out by Senator Martin of SC. Go listen to the press interview of Gov. Nikki Haley after the first successful prosecution and revocation of a business liscense after it persisted in hiring illegals.
Perry never does stuff like this he avoids and gets lots of money for doing so. Romney has a better record on enforcing immigration laws than Perry.
