What storm?

It rained a little bit yesterday and today was bright and sunny.

Hurricanes have a hard time getting over all the mountains.

We could’ve used more rain, actually.

My Mulberry and Willow trees look pretty sad.

Guess I’ll have to haul out the hose and water them myself, after all.

I feel awful for everybody else who got way too much rain.

:(

So is Odin and with the same inherent drive.

Do you mean a “short leash” literally or figuratively?

If the former, that actually provokes his drive to a higher level.

You might want to try working on resistance-free leash work.

It winds up creating a lot less stress for the dog *and* you.

I can coach offer help with it, if you’d like.

What kind of collar are you using to train?

We got lots of rain and very little wind.

But we have rocky ground that drains well, so it wasn’t a problem. Our area is just not one that is going to flood.

I live over top of a *lot* of underground springs and the water table is so high, you can literally go out in the backyard and dig a foot or two and water gushes up.

Happily, [I guess] we just had the usual August dry spell and it all soaked in.

I haven’t looked at the creepy root cellar under the house, yet.

[I try not to...scary ~things~ live down there]

;D

“You know, I almost got out of the car and did something”.

“But then I realized that I could get hurt, and besides, I didn’t want to humiliate myself by exhibiting my cowardice.”

What’s that? He didn’t say the second part?

Oh. You should have told me. :-)
