It will be around Midnight east coast time...primetime west coast time.
Things are bound to be pretty spectacular!

Thanks, makes sense.
I was wondering if the pink things were some flavor of coral, then just saw this on the text feed from the ship:
there have been some deep sea corals. In the control room we've been calling them flamingos.
Maybe this vid feed along with some real soft instrumentals in the background would help with my occasional insomnia !

Aside from the lack of pillow lava, Meridiani Planum on mars looks very similar.

Some random spots in the predominately silty areas make it look like some force or other has caused the cable to move, 'smoothing' the silt until the cable came to rest again.
Guess tho it coulda been tension/movement of the cable string further along rippling back down the line . . .

Or you could use something like a surf or mountain stream recording and your bladder could be the alarm clock !
Are you part of this project somehow ?

Excellent obs!
This area is always in flux. Whether it be earthquakes or generally because the Juan de Fuca is being subducted under the North American Plate.

Definitely getting into some rougher territory. Looks like they’ve turned on some sort of laser pointer.

Nah just a hobbyist with a theory that involves the long ago subduction of the Farallon Plate. Which the Juan de Fuca once was part of...!
