You beat me to the punch——I was about to contribute that the chupacabras only exists where the majority of the population speaks Spanish.

It was actually “discovered” in Puerto Rico about 20-25 years ago and the tale spread all over the Spanish-speaking world.

Most of the US “chupacabras” roadkill have turned out to be coyotes. Mangy, maybe, but still coyotes.

Make no mistake about it Chupabara’s are real. Just last week I seen one drinking a Tecate at Don Carlo’s restaurant, his hair was perfect!

Kotts said the D.N.R. is considering burying the carcass to allow it to further decompose to aide the identification process, but wants to avoid any possible interference with dogs and is concerned its pungent smell may linger nearby.

Badgers? Pungent Badgers? WE DON'T NEED NO STINKIN' BADGERS...

Why did the possum cross the road?
Answer: To get to the middle...

Used to know a guy named Mangy Badger; he was a drummer in a Vegas band.

I don’t think it is a badger. Snout too long and narrow. Teeth totally different.

I think it is a dog that had mange for a very long time. Dogs can grow very long “claws” if they are not active.
