When I sold on ebay a few years ago, you had to confirm your identity and be financially pre-approved to bid on a high priced item like this.
I think he has a good shot of collecting from at least one of the top bidders.
Grossness aside, I don't understand the price for this item. A top makeup artist can probably do a better mask for a few grand.

When I sold on ebay a few years ago, you had to confirm your identity and be financially pre-approved to bid on a high priced item like this. I recall that was the case when Rush Limbaugh auctioned off a complaint letter[fat PDF] to Clear Channel signed by a bunch of Donk senators. One of his listeners bought it for $2.1m, and that payment, along with a matching $2.1m from Rush went to the Marine Corpse Law Enforcement Foundation.
