No they certainly did not.In this article they do not tell us which individuals they used in their "study", whether they were at comparable educational, economic and other societal levels. Did they go to lower economical born again churches in depressed areas where most were dependent on government handouts and compare these people to bright, educated, wealthy people with good jobs? Because they do not tell us how they picked the subjects they used I find it suspect.
Also, there are many out there that may think that they are born again but are not for the way into life is strait and narrow and there are few that actual find it.

7:14 Because strait [is] the gate, and narrow [is] the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Mat 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
Mat 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
