What is TEOTWAWKI ?
TEOTWAWKI....the end of the world as we know it?
Did someone call for me?
” Rabbit, quail, dove, and the occasional havolina and deer. “
If/when TSHTF, then maybe I’ll finally be able to shoot all of them critters (and, yes, I got every one on your ‘shopping list’ helping themselves to my garden) without some eager young game warden writing tickets for those $2000 fines...
It’ll do wonders for my garden... ;)
Yuppies will perish whether they live in the city or the country.
Country folks will survive as long as they have enough ammo to eliminate the hoards of scum coming to take our stuff.
roflamo!!!
GREAT!
I think I have finally figured it out..took another cup of coffee.
We were planning on toilet paper and a good single malt scotch. LOL!!
Seriously the country or the far out suburbs are the place to be if the SHTF. Get your family around you with plenty of food, weapons and ammo and you will make it. How to books are not a bad idea either.
Yeah, I could survive for a while on the dove and squirrels in my ‘hood. I have a .22 pellet gun and a couple of .22 rimfire weapons. Plus, the pecan trees around here are plentiful.
That diet will get old pretty fast, but it beats starving.
Thank you for posting those paintings. They are favorites of mine.

Hey great to see you! I like it here, small but I can manage it & still be near my ocean. Got any new pics?
You're not doing it right. Eliminate those critters during the 4th of July and New Years when the neighborhood is resounding with fireworks - pop, pop, bang, pop, pop. Then any evidence is hidden away in the freezer in the form of roasts and sausage or in your tummy. If anyone asks, the proper replies include: I didn't hear anything or I heard something down the block or wasn't me or I was shooting a snake that was after my child.
uh, if the world ends, no freezer....
Try beef jerky or canning.
and the best place to be in in Deseret (Mormon country) where the church stresses having a year of food on hand....
I’d like to speak to anyone who claims that “if you’re East of the Big Muddy, you won’t survive”.
While you’re battling the hordes from the left coast and Mexico, I will be sitting on 120 acres with three springs and a river, backed up to roughly 82,000 acres of uninhabited woodlands, lakes, and streams. My driveway is a 22-mile dirt road, if you can find it. I can walk out my door in the morning and stock my freezer by nightfall.
While I believe that in many rural areas people will absolutely need to form communities to survive, the area to which I will bug out is so remote that it will likely never be found.
That sounds so ideolic!
“without some eager young game warden writing tickets for those $2000 fines..”
Question: would there be any way to get away with trapping the quail, doves and rabbits, and taking down the deer and pigs with a bow?
I mean, it is your land.
I hope the older kids don’t come back but I had it pounded into me by grandmother & mother that it would be wise to have a large house & enough land to have a large garden & chickens. So far it is peaceful but having my older brats come home might end the peace. Not all of them like horses & dogs & I will not get rid of my animals. Its a neat really old farm house, hidden rooms & a root cellar. Plus nice inground pool I can turn into a catfish pond if need be lol.
