I posted here that there would be insufficient demand to sustain it.IMO: 3DTV, right up there with smell-o-vision!
Of the 3DTV's I have seen in the big-box stores, they do not get my interest. I would rather put the extra money in a larger screen HDTV.

I guess you don't need HDMI for ROKU. Probably helps though, like you pointed out.
