The hilarious part about that law is GE, Sylvania and other manufacturers have merely started manufacturing 95, 55 and 35 watt bulbs to circumvent the law.
I have several cases of them and wonder how they will perform.

I bought an earlier design LED bulb consisting of ~ 20 individual LEDs that crapped out after about a year of the same use (headboard bed light).

I know they moved it when they built a new fire station, I guess they found a way to move it with out turning it off.The the old station is a deli now.
