I could be mistaken - the refueling floor should have large crane rails, and less equipment. This might be a floor below the refueling floor. Which means that it's adjacent to the reactor containment structure, not above it.
BTW, that long green device along the right that ends at the electrical connection box with the lid blown off looks suspiciously like it could be a backup generator. Not enough detail in the image to tell - I'd have to walk around and look at it more closely. Could also be one of the huge pumps.

Thanks for the links. I’ve seen most of the images on the youtube slideshow - too bad they’re such low resolution. Despite the attempts of the producer of the video, I can’t draw too many conclusions from them other than to say that “it blowed up real good”.
Somewhat - but the critical US machine tool industry died primarily from really bad management (think conglomerates). The Japanese were ready to take advantage of the situation.
The big government types that are so generous with our money and so chummy with our competitors overseas have been living the good life on our money. However, the money is running out. Tax receipts are dropping, jobs are not recovering well, and the US government credit they are borrowing on is being downgraded.
In short, the chickens are coming home to roost at long last.
The left is a loose coalition of disparate groups made up of race, gender, environmental, sexual issues, etc. . The only thing holding them together is the federal feeding trough. Once that is empty they will fall apart.
That is why the Tea Party will succeed. Economic forces are powerfully on our side.
