I had so many pets relaxing on my living room floor it looked like shag carpeting.

How old is the kitty? Is it male or female? Does he/she need to be spayed? I’ll help.

True, I’m fond of oranges, and the Orange Cat is quite attractive and friendly ... but we don’t want one! He’s clean and healthy, so I don’t think he’s homeless, just checking out the neighborhood to see where his best deal is.

It’s a male, and looks about six months old. He does need to be neutered. My neighbor mentioned a “no questions asked” discount spay/neuter deal going on. I’ll ask her about it when I pick her daughter up to go to the movies tomorrow.
We can afford it, but it’s nice of you to offer. I think he lives somewhere else in the neighborhood and is just looking for handouts and girlfriends.

Seriously, I ‘ll pay for the spay/neutering.
I just can’t see the kitty. If I see him, I’ll adopt him.

Except for the Little Redhead, the living room looked like the aftermath of of an explosion in the veteranarian’s office.
Ohyes...and then there is the shrieking rocker...

"...and then there is the shrieking rocker..."The very definition of "nervous".

I am here in Arkansas in the middle of town, noisier than in the woods it seems for me. Much wildlife here in the yard.

Except for the weather, I like AR. I liked Eureka Springs when the VW Rally is held there in August.
But I’ve had my fill of the Midwest. I only go for a week at a time, in December, every two years, for my grandson’s birthday.

Speaking of girlfriends - the other night I saw one of the prettiest cats ever. It looked like a raccoon except it was really a cat. And it was in heat. I looked it up - it’s called a showshoe cat. I wish it would wander into my living room, even if in heat.
To: ladyjane
I’ve seen Snowshoe cats in “Cat Fancy.” They are pretty. Our guest cat is a perfect bright-orange tabby.

Any positive number of cats is either sufficient or excessive.

Catz are great when they’re asleep. I haven’t seen Orange Cat this morning; maybe he moved on up the street to look for a bowl of food. We have a Yellow Cat who turns up about every other month, just in case we’ve changed our minds about feeding him.
