Whats a crock? My comment or Cam Newton in general.
Don’t you expect the hammer to eventually fall on Auburn? They literally rolled the dice at the end of the season and refused to hold him out of games even though the NCAA was advising them to.
They know whats coming. They just don’t care and obviously place that title over their integrity. As do their fans.
Lane Kiffin still has a hot wife.
Go Bucks!
They will hammer Auburn when the kids playing there are no longer the ones involved in this past season.
The notion, implicit in your comment, that there’s some objective standard of eligibility and that it’s applied fairly. The whole thing is a charade.
As much as I like sports, I can’t wait to strip 0bama of his power.
ohio state university next
Have you read the SI article. Pretty damning stuff. The AD will have to go, and likely the President of the U too.
Two tattoo parlors were essentially outlets for OSU players to get all kinds of stuff, and to broker memorabilia. One player traded 4 Fiesta Bowl tickets and something else for a truck, for example.
It was so widely known that anyone seeking a player’s autograph would simply go to one of the parlors looking for them on any given day. The employees at the parlor had to shoo fans off.
Turns out Tressel was involved in this sort of thing at Youngstown State too.
All the while passing himself off as an unordained priest of sorts. His nickname was, ‘The Senator’.
Indeed. Fits.
Boy, that one in the sunshine sure has big feet!
Hey OSU!!! You’re next!!!! Never trust a guy in a sweater vest!!!
That was my second favorite moment. My first was BSU over Oklahoma then the endzone proposal.
Auburn’s time is coming... Newton and his dad were dirtier than Tressel.
You are more than welcome to come on down!
But bring your own... we Okie’s don’t share well with others...
So the NCAA has invented time travel?
Best team of the Decade by far. They can never take away what they did. The games were played.
The NCAA is so corrupt. They serve as a hitman for the other conferences...
Auburn should have gotten the title, they would have been the first team to win two Championships in the same year.
Oddly enough Auburn and USC did play each other the year before in 2003 and USC crushed them. If Auburn had won the game they probably would have entered 2004 ranked higher than USC and would have probably been ranked higher at the end of 2004.
