I do not have a lot of ideas about Falun Gong. But as I know there are still a lot of members in China. They study at home, under the ground. I don’t know the exact number and I don’t know their religionary and political stand either.

I think the top site in China is Baidu, Chinese google. But it is running much better than google in China.
And Sina Weibo is Chinese twitter. RenRen and Kaixin001 are Chinese facebook.

Chinese people are very clever. And all the materials are easy to get in China. So the government are being nervous. Hope it will push them to change.

“Crony Capitalism” is indeed a very good word. That is what I want to express.

But the privileged people can got profits through the trade, it is the ordinary labors in China who will pay for it.

Free and open trade is an essential freedom. A large part of that is being able to set the price you are willing to sell something for, be it goods or labor and to decline the market if you think the price is not to your benefit.

Having to sell your labor at a below market rate to the benefit of others is slavery.

Until the goods that are traded between the US and China are priced in currencies set by free and open markets it will never be to the interest of the vast majority of either country's population to do so.

In a nutshell, you can't have free trade without free people.

Welcome to FR from the Dakotas, hope to hear more from you soon.

Demonstrations do exist in China but in the past years they are seldom reported to the public. But with the develop of Weibo(Chinese Twitter), we can got these news quickly. The bomb blast event is now being forwarded on the internet.
The number you mentioned still shocked me.

Wow, so you’ve got more people in the US believing in socialism than that in here, haha.
