Since when is a photon a unit of heating? Did I miss a new scientific discovery (or an old high school class LOL)?

even if all the CO2 stuff is true (which many scientists i respect say it is not), the fact is, even the leaked emails from Hadley CRU, talk about “hiding the decline”. The world has gotten colder since 2003, not warmer!
Top astrophysicists (especially Russians), have been predicting a “mini- ice age” for years. The warming in the 90’s was because the Sun was the most active it’s been in 1000 years. Now, it is giving some of the lowest readings ever.
The best predictions i’ve seen, is that it will continue to get colder, for another 20-30 years.
...sadly, this is still being hidden, largly because the urban heat island effect is ignored. (the IPCC said it is “negligible”.) Yet links like this one, show it is an order of magnitude greater than the wimply 0.6 degree increase they reported. Meaning the net cooling, is even more pronounced.
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/2721347/posts?page=189
“* Temperatures ranged from about 7°C in the countryside to 15°C in the heart of the city (CBD).”
(yet the IPCC considers 8.0 degrees of error negligible, while they report a 0.6 degree increase globably ?)
...and worse, people like Hansen at NASA, are removing rural sites, and northern sites, from the official temperature record. Which further skews the reality, in a desperate attempt to create warming that simply isn’t there.
...citris and wine industries already know the truth, because the frost lines, have been creeping north for a decade already. ...and the major cause of death in Florida manatees... is cold ! Many scientists, much smarter than me, have detailed how great a hoax this truly is, at a cost unprecedented in human history.

Sorry! my apologies! I accidently put the link to another article i was reading. Here is the heat island article link by the very well-respected Dr Ball:

The only reason it seems warmer is that most of the temperature stations that they use which used to be on the outskirts of town in pastures are now surrounded by asphalt and cement roads, Houses and buildings which absorb more infrared radiation than grassy fields thus raising the local air temps slightly. This is known as the “Urban Micro-Climate Effect”. It is the asphalt’s fault not a minor increase in CO2.

What should we do, tear down all the roads and buildings?

I should stop giving them ideas.

even if all the CO2 stuff is true

So what exactly is all of all the CO2 stuff.....??

The EPA is involved with a very precise game of branding CO2 as a Pollutant

Not a warming agent....

Should say I believe...

So the Scammers are using various contortions in their pursuit of revenues....

So why is a necessary food for Plants on which all life dependes labeled a pollutant...???

CO2 makes up less than .04% (that's 4 ten-thousanths's) of the atmosphere. Man contributes about 3% per year to that total. If we were to cut emissions by 10% per year that would mean that we are talking about .00012% of the atmosphere here. But we won't be able to drop emissions by 10%, but we would have to yield a large percentage of our freedoms trying to do so. Water vapor makes up around 2% of the atmosphere (with significant local variations), is a much more significant greenhouse gas, and is almost exclusively of natural origin (so it cannot be taxed).

Do the math.

In the comments section, #78 (by bananabender) seems to be the best response to this nonsense. In fact, he seems to be the most logical. Notice though, that no one addresses his points. They just ignore it. (at least they do until #150, which is were I am at right now in reading the comments)

When is Hansen going to decree all plant life must be snuffed out. Perhaps he can con Gore in doing it for him.

“So why is a necessary food for Plants on which all life dependes labeled a pollutant...???”

Human excrement floating in the Colorado Lagoon in Long Beach, California is a pollutant, but in many countries, especially Asian countries it’s fertilizer for the rice paddies. I saw it.

We are subject to criminals with tested, and creative Edwards style lawyers here. They keep our attention on something that doesn’t exist, and argue their points keeping us focused on them, and what they want no matter how many times they are exposed. Soon they will win a point simply because we tire of it all, and then they will take the rest.

The only way to win is to do it. Don’t allow them the luxury of time to play with our heads.

...and it does not prevent some heat flowing from a cooler body to a warm one.

I'm pretty sure that is just not possible.
