She’s a kid; that’s how kids learn.
So where did it say that she was driving on an Interstate?
Just for your information, there are no interstate highways in Alaska. Most of the roads have only two lanes, are narrow, curvy, have frost heaves, potholes etc,,, and are very congested and dangerous. (Especially the Seward Highway.)
So save your assumptions until more facts come out.
Willow was said to be driving 84 miles per hour in a 65 mph zone. She's insane. It sounds pretty nuts to me; but 16-year-olds are notorious for making poor decisions. Add in her mother's type-A personality, and ...

Nitpicking my post, you missed the point.
We know she was driving 84 mph in a 65 mph zone.
You've never done that?
_I_ will make an assumption: it was a 65 MPH zone so it was a good piece of road, not the twisty bumpy crowded unpaved cow path you are trying to insinuate.
I will also NOT assume that she was driving at a continuous high rate of speed. She could have been passing someone for all I know. You only have to exceed the speed limit for an instant to get ticketed.
But regardless...it is NOT a big deal.
Kids get tickets.
That’s just the way of the world.
Not on most of the roads in Alaska. If I were you, I would go there and learn something about the place.
I lived there 20 years and still have close friends there who I visit yearly. I have a pretty good handle on what I am talking about.
I'm sure we'll find out the details on this story faster than we found out what really happened in the Situation Room at the White House during the OBL raid.
There are way too many questions here and Sarah Palin isn't speaking.
Why? What does she have to hide?
(There, I just covered the story as the MSM would cover it. Can I get my Pulitzer now?)
Hillary’s limo struck a guard, and subsequently drove on. Don’t recall too many news tories on that one.
Daily Mail - fighting hard every day for the title of Britain’s crappiest tabloid rag. It’s barely useful as birdcage liner.
What a non story.
LLS
There you go assuming again......
The State has a 65 Mph limit as a mandatory statute on paved State roads. Most people drive below that due to the poor conditions. Not only that, with all the Moose that frequent the roads, (They prefer them and actually use them to travel on because the woods, swamp and brush is so thick.)
It would be foolhardy to drive like that, even on the 20 mile 4 lane stretch to Eagle River. The Troopers watch these very closely for good reason. There are fatal wrecks almost daily.
Hard to believe...ya know, the Prius part.
However, IIRC the son was speeding in his Lamborghini. I somehow recall a video on TMZ showing him speeding away.
Must have been a slow news day in the U.K.
An American teenage got a speeding ticket! The horror!
This is series at least and possibly hugh!
(just keeping the tradition alive here...)
Here’s a link to the Al Gore son speeding at 100 stoned and in possession story:

Paved state roads in Alaska can have speed limits that are less than 65mph. You make it sound like they all have 65 mph speed limits.
WHINE!!! I did that when I was about her age. How come I didn’t get in the newspaper?
