I intended to close Guantanmo as my first executive order upon becoming President. I also released to the world the memos associated with enhanced interrogation techniques for all to see, also issued an EO to stop “torturing enemy combatants”.
So, let me get this straight -
Because you don’t trust Obama, you are using that distrust as the sole evidence to make the case that OBL is NOT dead, and this is all a public relations stunt supported from the highest level of government down to the operatives who *didn’t* pull the trigger?

Obama was against:
Waterboarding: which likely gave us the intel.
The Surge which turned the tide in Iraq...hell, he was even agaisnt it AFTER it succeeded saying he STILL would not have approved the surge.
GITMO...was gonna close it even though it was our best source of intel.

Recall the idiot who said as the military jets flew over the Clinton oath of office “What are THEY doint here...oh yeah, the are OUR jets now.”
A humble and gracious president would have THANKED those who laid the ground work (such as Bush)...but this self-serving narcissist, used the word “I” 24 times in his speech, and refered the brave solider who conducted the operation only 3 times.
it is likely that intel from waterboarding, that HE OPPOSED, gathered at GITMO, that he opposed, directly contributed to this kill....a GREAT leader would have THANKED those who made it possible...but his small man, only ridiculed all that came before.
He ever OPPOSED the surge that turned the tide in Iraq, going so far as to saying that even given its’ success he in after thought would STILL have opposed it.
We cannot ignore the facts that without the VERY operations and intel gathering methods that HE OPPOSED, he would NOT have this day...in fact, if he had been president during the Bush years...well I shutter to think of it.
And, as we all know, democrats have a LONG and shameful history of campaigning on top of caskets.
