Superman took the side of Iranian demonstrators against the ruling Mullah regime - and Iran saw this as American aggression and used it to paint the demonstrators as tools of the Americans and said it was an act of war by the United States.
While I don't agree with Superman doing any such thing, I think the stance itself is a fine one.
He is fighting for “Truth Justice and the American Way” even when the American government will not.
He should say that and KEEP his American citizenship, and point out to Iran and anyone else that as an American citizen he can make any political stance he wants to without any approval or acceptance by any government agency.

Next thing you know well learn that Superman has a thing for Batman. Isn't that what the "Boy Wonder" is for?

Who read comics anymore...Michael Moore? I know of no children or teens who read them. And, comics have a pretty long history of atheism and socialism...this is nothing new. I suppose we’ll be hearing of government subsidies, soon.

...reminds me of how Marvel Comics rolled over and spread their legs for Obama with those multiple editions of Spider-Man with Zero on the cover. Of course, speculators are dumping piles of them on eBay with NO takers.

It is sad when a person needs to change the creation of another person because they are too limp in the brain to come up with something new themselves.

It’s what happens when you have someone like Barrack Obama as President even Superman can’t handle the actions of the current President.

Superman is an expat Kryptonian. Admitedley I haven't read a comic book in 30 years but when did he become an American citizen? He may have been fighting for truth justice and the American way, but that didn't make him a citizen. This a long way away from the movies of Christopher Reeve:

Or is it objections to Obama policy? Nah, I’m not that naive. I know the direction comics have taken for a while now.
