“I used to believe O’Reilly was smart,”
“I was a faithful viewer.”

He defintely has a problem with women...He alternates between being really nasty to smart women and then sexual innuendo’s to his women co-anchor guests..Its gotten worse, the sexual “jokes’ are not funny.

And very often he is quite salacious in all the so called support of being against child abusers. I really wonder what is really going on with him.

he is coming off more and more fake and disingenuous...just a matter of time.

“There was some speculation that he tried posting here and got flamed. If I recall correctly. Telepromptr and camera don’t respond, people do. :)”

Oh no. He accused me of it on his show when he was talking about radical groups.

The thing was, he cherry picked what I wrote and wouldn’t respond to me when I called his producer. Wimp hid under his desk.

” O’Reilly has become more of a lib so conservatives are leaving in droves. In order to make up losing his audience he is going further to the left hoping he will get more viewers.”

It’s been about 10 or 11 years since I have watched any “news” show. It’s much better on the ole heart to read it here on FR.

I had a bit of a personal experience with BOR about 11 years ago. Believe me, he’s not only not a conservative, he’s so full of himself that even he doesn’t know what he is—but he definitely thinks he’s the brightest bulb in any room in which he finds himself.

Honestly, it doesn’t say much about you if you thought BOR was smart

The man is a clown and has been one for many years

His populist positions all about making BOR money

If it paid good money to be a liberal hack BOR would be one

I was just referring to his attitude, no excuses for that. His ego must be very small to need to overcompensate that much.

Which episode? I might just watch a portion of his drivel from the past.

I haven't watched him since he dildoed himself, or whatever, while talking to that beautiful young lady on his staff.

He's a pompous ass. He thinks the world moves according to his dictates on the factor. Nonsense.

I turned it off when he started ragging on the mayor of DC.

Is there a worse interviewer than O'Reilly?

Love that email. I sent one asking the name of the hospital that he is so sure that BO was born in.

Your first mistake was in putting such total child-like puppy dog faith in BOR (or any radio or TV) personality just because they happen to say or do some things with which you agree.

Your second mistake is in not realizing all such personalities — left, right or other — is in it for one reason only, which is TO MAKE MONEY. They may or may not be true believers in whatever side they take, but for them it really isn’t about political beliefs. It’s about getting, keeping, expanding and entertaining an audience.

Think for yourself. Learn to take EVERYTHING they say with a healthy grain of salt, whether or not you agree with their take on any given topic. Then you won’t be subject to such disappointments.

This is a man who calls himself a Catholic, (he's pro life to his credit) who has looked at the bible and says, “No one actually believes the bible tells true stories. They're parables!”.

Whenever he discusses Christianity you can tell it's a “surface knowledge” - he thinks he really understands it, but he doesn't. I've come to see this characterizes BOR, and is where he really falls down - he simply thinks he knows it all, when all he really has is a good passable knowledge. He doesn't understand Christianity. He doesn't understand the American philosophy of rights and freedoms. He doesn't understand conservatism.

It's sad - once he makes up his mind, the most knowledgeable expert can't change it. He just scoffs, secure in his error. And you know, the bible teaches the greatest fool of all is the man who is unteachable.

He was at his best when he took on the ACLU- but his posturing to be a middle-of-the-roader makes him appear both untrue, foolish, and makes him go flat. Yes, no more watching for me either. Down to Van Susteren, Hannity, Megyn Kelly and Brett Baier

“Neill Boortz said on a show some years ago that O’ Reilly paid to settle a sexual harrassment lawsuit out of court”

O’Reilly was talking dirty to a gal and she blackmailed him.

Fox should have canned him them.
