?
Your appreciation is appreciated, sir. And the short version of "Dunstan" is, appropriately, "Dunce." Or possibly "Stan." Prefer "Dunce."
Related all too closely to it, too.
This should probably worry the both of us.
Well, there I was .. at the corner of walk and don't walk
running.
Well, that sounded like the Wright way to handle it, okay.
The thing that bugs me about the corner of WALK and DON'T WALK is that the crosswalks often have the word WALK printed right across them on the road, which leads to a fourth-level existentialist dilemma (or, I guess tetralemma, if you want to be etymologically picky about it--and why not?). First there's the age-old question of which has the primacy of moral imperative: paint on asphalt or words spelled with light (the old Pigmentist/Photonoliterist controversy, about which so much ink has been spilled). Cartesianism usually gets mixed in there somehow, and at some point, the universe gets fed up with this self-important metaphysical posturing, enfolds upon itself, and just puts you across the street to shut you up.
Naturally, this does not work (the universe is apparently a slow learner), as it only generates more talk and vain speculation, and greater and more complex and labyrinthine theories that challenge not only common sense and intuition, but others' reluctance to murder you.
I'd keep on writing, but supper's about ready--apparently, the universe is learning.
