Dogs are the best! We're a little partial to Corgis.

Doesn't say how much the rescue COSTS. Who's paying for this heroism???

Oh yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....don’t have one but...these dogs are awesome. From what I understand people who couldn’t afford other stock would use these dogs for the heavy chores and I guess they performed outstanding. Beautiful dogs too and from what I understand...loving and good natured. Expensive too but...

when we’re talking about a life...who cares? We pay for a lot of stuff that is senseless and useless and doesn’t matter. This was a family member and anyone who has dogs, cats or whatever their pet is loves them like family. I love seeing people pull together for such a humanitarian reason. Now the dog and family are reunited and it’s a happy ending. Be happy for the family and their dog. It’s a nice story. Also, if someone were lost and they brought this dog in to help find them...I’m sure he would give his life towards that effort. Dogs are like that...yeah they are. :)

owner Darwin Schandor hired the North Shore Rescue team

What's this? Something not done on the taxpayer's dime?

and owner Darwin Schandor hired the North Shore Rescue team to bring him home.

I do wonder what that cost, but if the guy is footing the bill, doesn't matter to me.
