A tearful Tammy Martinez told The Gazette her dog Flato wasn’t dangerous and shouldn’t have been killed.

YOU shouldn't have owned a dog you CAN'T CONTROL!!!!

Flato won’t be attacking any more dogs. Or anything else for that matter. Case closed.

both this psychotic lady and supposed “Trainer” said the dog was not dangerous....it dragged it’s owner 15 feet before the owner could not physically hold on any longer, attacked a dog across the street, did not leg go of it’s deathgrip on the other dog, even while being kicked by the other dogs owner, until the other dogs owner was left with no other option but to shoot it...... sorry, but this thing was dangerous and needed to be put down..

My wife’s nephew used to raise some big beautiful canines.

neighbors loved them, petted them enjoyed playing with them.

Then the local newspaper interviewed the nephew and found the dogs were half wolf.

Instant change! The neighbors went into such a panic he had to get rid of them.

The Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region is investigating whether the shooter was justified in firing on the bullmastiff, Stafford said.

The humane society?? Do they have a "law enforcement division?"

I know a man who killed a biga$$dog with a baseball bat after it bit the crap out of one of his kids in the early 70’s. The dogs owner and the bit up kid just kind of stood there in amazement.

No one could afford the expense of a wasted bullet for a dog back then. The man who killed the dog had available bullets for any persons who got in his way during his moment. No one even dared call the police, and if they had, none of them would have dared respond. The world was smaller back then.

Notwithstanding all evidence to the contrary, her dog is still dead and Cooper has a significant neck wound. Ms. Martinez is a moron.

1) Large and/or dangerous breed of dog?

Yes. Bullmastiffs are bred to overpower and subdue poachers and their dogs - a VERY dangerous breed of dog (I know, I have one).

2) Running lose, often >1 running lose?

Yes. Dog was on a leash, yet owner was physically (and more importantly psychologically) incapable of maintaining control of her dog.

3) Previous reports of aggression?

Not mentioned/ No.

4) Unrealistic view by owner on the aggressiveness of their dog (often despite #3 above)?

YES! In spades - even after a VIVID demonstration that she had NO control over her dog -as it MAULED another dog - she still maintains that it would all be OK if only she had a few seconds to sweet talk her dog and convince him to NOT destroy the greyhound. Delusional!

I know someone who has bull mastiffs. He had a delivery guy drive up to his house to make a delivery, then stop several doors away.

The dog owner said “Hey, you have a flat tire! How did that happen?”

Delivery guy “Your dog just bit my tire.”

Owner “ha ha ha”.

Delivery guy “No really. Your dog just bit my tire and flattened it”.

He helped him change the tire and bought him a new one.
