HE must be a savvier investor than even old Hillary and her Cattle Futures. Considering we haven't even given Egypt 1/10th that amount in cash aid. The largest chunk of "aid" we've given them by far is the credits to purchase military hardware, training, maintenance, etc. Maybe he sold them the hardware on Ebay.An article last week claimed Mubarek and family ripped off 70 billion through the 30 years he ran Egypt. I doubt that number is accurate. Maybe 3-5-7 billion. There just ain't that much money to skim and steal there. But he did have crony capitalist like Marcos of the Philippines

I see Mubarak as a kind of place holder, someone who support the best interests of the US and Israel, until a better option came along. It never has.
