I don’t know what “tame” is, or “worse”. They looked stupid, silly, goofy. They could’ve looked more stupid, more silly, more goofy. But I’m confident that they looked sufficiently stupid, silly, goofy, funny for me to call them stupid, silly, goofy, funny.
Ya know, my parents thought the Beatles looked stupid silly and goofy. It’s the circle of life.
I liked the BEP and the dancers. Didn’t like the Slash guy’s part set much as he was sort of jammed in there. Thought the guy in white — Usher? — was another off step.
Really cool that the mics didn’t work right at the start — showed that the BEP singing was LIVE.
Also I thought the Obama insert was loopy-loo. But otherwise I really enjoyed the show.
Except that the Beatles didn’t suck and the the Black Eyes Peas do.
Dancing and Music are different. But idiots can’t tell the difference.
Commercial Top 40 stations don’t have good music on them these days. Most commerical radio stations don’t have good music on them.
There are a lot of good bands out there, they just aren’t the Black Eyed Peas.
I’d hate to be the Fox executive who is thinking now “I wish I spoke up when I realized they weren’t talking about “The Black Keys” but were talking about “Black Eyed Peas”.”
The Black Keys are a solid band, good musicians who can play their own songs live, and are still in the top 20 on Billboard.
The Black Eyed Peas suck. Katy Perry sucks. Lady GaGa sucks.
The only people who like that music are people who still can’t figure out how to find good music, even though all music is pretty much free, and there are many many websites reviewing many many acts. People who like the Black Eyed Peas are stupider than the average person.
The average person today completely ignores Top 40 radio.
I’d much rather see Yeah Yeah Yeahs than the Black Eyed Peas, but YYY were cooler 10 years ago.
Same old rant...every generation does it.
I know pretty well people in 2 acts currently on the Active Rock chart. I derive money from the music business.
But Black Eyed Peas suck, as do Katy Perry and Lady GaGa. Top 40 radio I guess wants total crap.
There is a lot of current music that doesn’t suck. I guess the last show I saw was Kylesa, High on Fire. Just one of many real band shows with real instruments.
Most everything on commercial radio sucks. And Top 40 is the worst. But there’s lots of great music being made right now. Try Pitchfork.com to get an idea of some music that’s better than top 40 garbage.
As so many here, I am beyond caring. You know you’re getting old when you watch SNL and you’ve never heard of the musical guest. You know you are really over the hill when you’ve never heard of the guest host! Guilty in both fronts!
