But they would never consider military intervention against Iran.

IF Obama even thinks this is a good idea. Using AMERICAN troops to support the same people that are killing our soldiers in Afganistan is TREASON.

If this doesn’t bring the Tea Party to the streets of Washington D.C., all the progress that has been made will be for naught.

My guess is someone in the Administration gave Matt a call.

I don’t doubt for a moment that Obama would commit our troops, if he can. Maybe, our military leaders would flatly refuse? What kind of crisis would that cause?

Will Joe “Bite Me” file for Obama to be removed due to mental break down or something?

We have a seriously dysfunctional administration and it is contributing to international destabilization.

“This is extremely dangerous.”

GROSS UNDERSTATMENT!!!!

That this would even be considered by THESE people ought to make us question even more.

Eerily reminiscent of Vietnam during the Kennedy administration, and the coup that overthrew Diem. Although I don’t think Obama would be “shocked and dismayed” if Mubarek met the same fate as Diem...

From http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vietnam_War

U.S. officials began discussing the possibility of a regime change during the middle of 1963. The United States Department of State was generally in favor of encouraging a coup, while the Defense Department favored Diem.

This proposal was conveyed to the U.S. embassy in Saigon in Cable 243.

The CIA was in contact with generals planning to remove Diem. They were told that the United States would not oppose such a move nor punish the generals by cutting off aid. President Diem was overthrown and executed, along with his brother, on 2 November 1963. When he was informed, Maxwell Taylor remembered that Kennedy “rushed from the room with a look of shock and dismay on his face.”[114] He had not approved Diem’s murder. The U.S. ambassador to South Vietnam, Henry Cabot Lodge, invited the coup leaders to the embassy and congratulated them. Ambassador Lodge informed Kennedy that “the prospects now are for a shorter war”.[115]

We’ve sent thousands of our kids to Afghanistan and Iraq...the EU sends few in comparison. Let THEM handle this one. Idiots.

Egypt’s own military should be able to handle this crisis, I believe.

Notice it is only those countries considered Western allies who are threatened by forceful takeover. There is never any thought to removing autocratic governments of Iran, North Korea and a host of others who are enemies of the West.

Why are we so suicidal?

Would someone please read one of Barry's apology speeches about America having "shown arrogance and been dismissive, even derisive" to him, please?

Today is a good day to die.
I didn't say for whom.

I took down my flag when Obambi was put in office. Just didn’t feel right.

Now this. What is sad is I have a lot of friends in the military.
