What would be their rationale for shutting down the internet? This is the voice of the people, and in a land where there is freedom of speech protected by the constitution, they would be guilty of violating the very document they are sworn to protect from, “all enemies, foreign and domestic”.

He's violated the Constitution ever since he stepped into public office.  He doesn't uphold or protect it, he trashes it on a daily basis.  He thumbed his nose at it when it was being read on the House floor and instead of defending his rationale for socialized health care, he trashed the Florida judge (called him an outlier) who used the Constitution as the basis for his opinion in Florida v. Sebelius.

Freedom of speech is a Constitutional right, your access to the internet is not.

“This article discusses ways to keep connected if the internet is shut down like in Egypt. “

If the government shuts the internet down I’ll be bored. I’ll have to drink beer, clean my guns and think dark thoughts. :)
