Watch the video at the link. The explosion scene is exactly the same.

A J-10 hitting an F-5 in tests wouldn’t be strange. We’ve exported and licensed it all over the world, and it’s fallen into enemy hands (esp. the Vietnamese). It’s not hard to imagine China getting several copies.
The scenes looking exactly the same is a bit harder to explain.

One of the comments was pretty good. China has also invented a faster than light spaceship.
Its called the Millennium Falcon.

Someone head in the state propaganda office is going to be on the chopping block, and since this is Communist China that might just be more that a figure of speech.

Its called the Millennium Falcon. It's the ship that made the Kessel Run in less than 230 trillion miles. Wait, that's a unit of distance. That makes no sense.

I think it would be fun to crop in other dogfight scenes from various movies into that report. Maybe some WW1 biplane getting shot down, or the Hindenburg explosion. Let your imagination soar!
Maybe CCTV would run it! He’ll, they ran with Homer Simpson’s brain.
